Terms & Conditions of Service
Last Updated: August 21, 2026 • Rules, user responsibilities, and commercial rights governing our website and tools.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the UPI QR Code Generator (provided by WebPress Hub and Laba Das), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should immediately discontinue using this service.
2. Nature of the Utility Service
This website provides an open-standard, client-side digital utility that compiles user-provided payment parameters into standardized National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) UPI deep-linking strings (upi://pay) and renders them into two-dimensional QR code images.
The service is provided entirely free of charge, with zero subscription fees, zero transaction cuts, and zero mandatory account registrations.
3. Accuracy of User-Supplied Information
Because our tool operates 100% locally in your web browser, our servers do not validate, cross-reference, or verify the authenticity or operational status of any Virtual Payment Address (VPA / UPI ID) you enter.
- User Responsibility: You are exclusively responsible for verifying that your entered UPI ID, payee name, and numerical rupee amounts are accurate before printing, publishing, or distributing any generated QR code.
- Pre-Display Testing Obligation: You agree to test-scan any generated QR code and perform a ₹1 test transfer to confirm accurate fund routing prior to placing standees on public retail counters or embedding codes into official client invoices.
4. Permitted Commercial & Personal Rights
We grant all users a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to generate, export, download, reproduce, print, and display QR codes produced by this website for:
- Physical checkout counter standees, stickers, and tent cards in retail shops, restaurants, and stalls.
- Embedding in commercial PDF invoices, payment receipts, and billing statements.
- Digital distribution via messaging platforms (WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS) and email correspondence.
- Freelance client billing, educational fee collections, medical consultation payments, and non-profit donations.
5. Prohibited Uses & Fraud Prevention
You agree not to utilize this tool, its export formats, or its templates for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, including but not limited to:
- Generating QR codes designed to impersonate legitimate commercial brands, charities, or governmental bodies with fraudulent payee names (phishing/spoofing).
- Creating payment codes intended for unauthorized multi-level marketing scams, illegal lotteries, or prohibited financial schemes under Indian law.
- Attempting to inject malicious scripts, invalid characters, or exploit payloads into QR URI parameters.
6. Independent Status & Financial Disclaimers
UPI QR Code Generator is strictly a client-side string formatter and graphics compiler:
- We are not a bank, non-banking financial company (NBFC), payment gateway, or payment aggregator.
- No customer funds ever touch or route through our systems. Financial transactions execute directly between the payer’s bank and payee’s bank via the NPCI IMPS infrastructure.
- We hold no responsibility for interbank settlement delays, failed transactions, bank server downtime, UPI PIN errors, or customer-side payment cancellations.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and all generated assets are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied. We make no warranty that the tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with obsolete third-party scanning devices.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, WebPress Hub, Laba Das, and our contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use this service, including lost profits, billing discrepancies, or third-party fraud resulting from physical standee tampering.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal disputes arising in connection with this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes take effect immediately upon being posted on this page. Your continued use of the website following any update signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.
